The security situation in the south is used to justify independence. Some of the issues in the south are problems with the people but others are caused by foreigners wanting to prevent competition (UAE, Saudi, Qatar). A weak Somalia is in the best interest of our neighbors and the oil producing Gulf States. Will these groups allow these regions to succeed in the event of independence or will the qaraxs come your way instead of reer mogadishu the seat of traditional international Somali governance?

How will you prevent this meddling?
