Can you sum this up? I don't wanna have to retype it all on google translate and it's hard to understand. All I know is the tweet says something about him congratulating the SNA and the rest is "ERROR.EXE" for me.

Yesterday (April 12) was the Somali National Army day, as it was the day the Somali army was founded. The President has congratulated the Somali National Army for their sacrifices and courageous efforts to defend Somalia and its people on this important day.

That being said, you speak Somali language, so stop pretending you don't, waryaa @Koji.:ROFLMAO:

If Turkey is planning to accelerate SNA upgrades, they really need to supply Somalia with their:

1) Drones for aerial surveillance and attacks.
2) Hurjet advanced jet trainer and light attack aircrafts. Training center should be set up locally akin to what private defense contractors do now for for lagging countries for airforce training.
3) Milgem light corvettes.

All three can be used to take on Al-Shabab and enforce Somalia's EEZ for protecting out sea resources (fishing, oil/gas).

BTW, Morocco is buying the Turkish TB2 drones. It means Erdogan is giving up on Polisario Front of the Western Sahara.

A airforce is defiantly needed that is one of the reasons we last to ethiopia in the 70s we relied to much on our ground force and ran out of supplies after the Ethiopia government had an airstrike our supplies

The goal should be developing sustainable armed forces. In the long term, training and maintenance must be local. Production should be set up for ammunition.
