I noticed most Western Muslim women have an issue with "afar baa loo baneeyo." Islamically do you have a leg to stand on to deny him?
Some of them say they will get a clause in the marriage contract stating polygamy will be a cause for divorce. Is this something Muslim women of the past did or is it a completely modern phenomenon inspired by feminism/kuffar?
No wonder we hear of all these odayaal marrying behind their first wife's back. They are left with no option! These men should not be criticized for doing what their forefathers did without challenge.
In Somali culture, a man will marry his brother's widow in order to keep the children and the wealth in the family. Would these modern women deny their husband this cultural practice?
What if she gets paralyzed or some grave illness? Will she make him suffer a life of no intimacy?
Overall, I think these women are selfish, and although it is accepted today, denying their husbands polygamy is unIslamic.
