On one hand, thinking of the past could be argued as useless. And that you shouldn’t bother being in control all of the time. Think of one thing in the past, “Oh why did I do that?!?”. You then feel annoyance & rage.
Think of yourself 5 years from now “could I be a millionaire, will I be okay, will I be a crack addict?” God forbid, but this (arguably) puts you in a bubble of anxiety & fear.
Now here’s an example of the duality & separation in philosophy, where we’re trapped in a situation of which is correct?
