Aisha was not 9 years old but (19–20) years old when married to Holy Prophet Muhammad (s)
9 years age of Aisha which you point out is not mentioned in Holy Quran - verbatim words of God but It is mentioned in Sahih Bukhari.

This hadith is simply fabricated lie | Sahih Bukhari is not verbatim word of God like Al-Quran | we will analyse Sahih Bukhari and age of Aisha on base of Science, Rationality and Islamic history.
Sources which says she was 9 are narrated by liars like Hisham ibn `Urwa and are unreliable.
And People used to invent lie against messenger while he was alive lest alone 250 years after his death.
But for now,
  • Atheists can rely on Mathematics, Islamic history and Rationality (no religion - happy :)
  • Christians can understand this hadith book as ‘Gospel of Barnabas’ which defies entire Modern Christianity - defies crucifixion of Jesus and mentions Muhammad as true messiah by Jesus himself.
  • Hindus can understand this hadith books as Bhavishya purana and Allah Upanishad which mentions clearly Allah and Muhammad by name.
Simple these books were written after a long time :
My personal uncopied quote : Humans have recently developed a science which can convert lies into truth known as media but Muslims had invented such science 1000 years ago known as “Science of hadiths” (laughing…..)

Case of Sahih Bukhari :
Composed by Imam Muhammad al-Bukhari
  • Composed after 222 years of death of Prophet Muhammad (s).
  • Number of hadiths collected by Imam Bukhari = 600,000 hadiths.
  • Number of hadiths rejected by Imam Bukhari = 592,725 hadiths.
  • Number of hadiths selected by Imam Bukhari = 7,275 hadiths.
  • Hadiths rejected by assumptions = 99%
  • Hadiths accepted by assumptions = 1%
Imam Bukhari rejected 99 % of what he collected and called it pure lies and fabrication and accepted only 1 %.
  1. Was he infallible like messengers ? No
  2. Was he divinely guided by Allah in his work? No
  3. So what is his criterion of assuming a hadith right or wrong ?

    Answer - Personal assumptions.
why personal assumptions?
Because,
  • There was no public library of hadiths as hadiths were burned and banned at the time of four caliphs and was not recorded till first 250 years after Prophet’s departing of world. (why that’s another long answer)
  • There was no Internet database like Google drive at that time.
  • (mainly…..)
Imam Bukhari assumes according to him which narrators are not liars and which hadith can be considered authentic and which narrators are liars and hadith is false.
Now,
  • (Just calculate the mathematical and rational probability of Imam Bukhari of being wrong. Can’t he error in 1 percent too and he has no authority in Islam)

(I have absolutely no idea how anyone can assume who is liar and who is not from first narrator in the time of Prophet Muhammad who existed 250 years ago to last narrator who was alive at the time of Bukhari)

(I can’t even tell you today while living in world of modern information age that a person who lived in 1817 is liar or truthful lest the chain of narrators from 1817 to 2017 | can you?)
This is the reasons the hadiths of Sahih Bukhari can’t be considered authentic. He rejected 99 % of what he collected and accepted 1 % on basis of his person assumptions of reliable narrators. Can’t he error in that 1% too and what authority he has of Islam as Islam is Book of Allah and messengers.
I can’t accept assumptions of a common man to be infallible like Al-Quran specially when Allah warned us in Quran: (“And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying. Al-an’am:116”)
I can’t accept this marriage hadith particularly because it goes against Science - in light of Islamic history and rationality.

  1. The well-known historian Ibn ****** al-Tabari writes at page 50 of volume 4 of his 'Book of History': "Abu Bakr married two ladies in the days of ignorance. Fateelah daughter of Abd al-Aza was the first, from whom Abdullah and Asma were born. Umm-i-Rooman was the second, from whom Abd al-Rahman and Aisha were born. All the four children of Abu Bakr were born in the days of ignorance from the above-named two ladies.
  2. It is a well-known fact of history, that Abu Bakr’s son Abd al-Rahman fought against the Muslims in the battle of Badr. His age at that time was 21-22 years, and although he was older than Aisha, there is no evidence to show that the difference between their ages was more than three or four years. This fact lends support to the view that Aisha was born four or five years before the Call.
  3. Now we know that Aisha was engaged by prophet Muhammad (p) in around 11th year of call (i.e.around 620 ad ) and consummated by marriage after three years i.e., around 623-624 a.d.. Now do the calculation the calculation . In 623 when Aisha’s brother was 21-22 , at that time Aisha (r) was not less than 18-19 years .
  4. Hence when Prophet Muhammad (p) engaged her in 620 ad she was around 16-17 years . Almost after 2-3 years Prophet (p) married her and took her to his home , which tends her age finally around 19

Ismail ibn Kathir - The highly influential shafi school scholar expert on Jurisprudence, History and Quranic interpretation.
  1. 1. The well-known historian and scholar ‘Allama ‘Imad-ud-Deen Ibn Katheer writes in his 'Al-Badayah' about Sayedah Asma’ daughter of Abu Bakr’ (and we hope Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maududi must have seen it as he referred to 'Al-Badaya' in his article): Asma’ died in 73 A.H. at the age of 100 years.
  2. She was ten years older than her sister ‘Aisha. Now according to this report ‘Asma’ would have been 27-28 years old at the time of Hijrah and since she was ten years older than Sayedah ‘Aisha, therefore the age of Sayedah ‘Aisha would have been 17 or 18 years at the time of Hijrah.
  3. Accordingly, her birth falls about four or five years before the Call, and her age at the time of the consummation of marriage in 2 A.H. will work out to 19-20 years.
